Ordiswap Mainnet Testing ๐Ÿงช We are currently on mainnet (not officially), but in a feedback environment on We ask the community to use all parts of the protocol there and leave feedback to aid us in the mainnet transition via the suggestion channel on Discord (https://discord.com/invite/ordiswap), or simply here on Telegram. ๐Ÿงช Here are a few quick notes for the current build parameters and things we've noticed: 1. Use a high sat fee for swapping, creating a pool, and liquidity additions. 2. When creating pools or choosing any BRC-20, if it has a price match, match it to the market rate or set your own. In the ticker field of "create pool," this is a specific ticker for the new LP you're creating. For major LPs on our DEX, it should be formatted as (x)-LP in the ticker name. Transactions are either 3-4 blocks and will be signaled status on order and description for all things. 3. After creating a pool, you can initiate adding liquidity. This will be a two-step process. After adding initially and receiving enough confirmations, you must select "send" on both tokens in the pool to finalize the liquidity add step. (We are working on a more uniform addition process.) 4. For swaps, for BTC-to-BRC20, it does not require "send" after transaction initiation, but for BRC20-to-BTC, after initiation, you must then "send" tokens to be swapped after confirmations. 5. Our Thorchain-powered bridge currently only supports native SegWit, but the DEX supports Taproot and SegWit. 6. Swap times and actions on L1 are highly determined by block processing on-chain and also the fees used by the user. Sub-39 sat seem to fall into a slower process speed, so we plan to have a default higher gas option on things. 7. We aim to optimize modals and key information & pop-ups for users to be more interactive and clear. 8. We plan to make the overall usage of the more complex parts of the platform, such as creating pools and adding liquidity and BRC20-to-BTC side swaps more streamlined. 9. We appreciate all feedback on every part of the current build that is live. We would like to note again that this is not the official mainnet but a stagenet, if you will, of the first build on mainnet operating a true AMM, providing LP tokens, and a DEX infrastructure on the native Bitcoin environment. We look forward to your feedback. Use nominal amounts if you decide to test and help us in feedback. ๐Ÿ“œ We will be releasing official articles, threads, and release documents at the time we deem the mainnet environment to be perfect from a UX and operations perspective. ๐Ÿค This is a new technology landscape, and we are striving alongside key partners and the community to provide a premier and industry-leading experience. We are aware many would like a fast full mainnet, but we believe we are taking the correct steps to become the liquidity hub on native Bitcoin for years to come! ๐Ÿงก We thank you all for your current support, and we look forward to reviewing points and feedback on the test mainnet environment.
